Message from Scott Swanson of the YMCA

A message from Scott Swanson:
Homecourt Pickleballers,
As I transition away from the Homecourt YMCA I wanted to take the time to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you. As an outsider looking in I can say with certainty that the Pickleball community is something truly special. I am so glad that I and the Homecourt YMCA could be a part of it. Through my two and a half years with the Homecourt Y I have built numerous relationships with many of you, relationships I will never forget. The Pickleball community and programming has been a major part of helping develop me as a professional and a YMCA cause driven leader and for that I will be forever grateful. As the sport has grown there have been lots of ups, a few downs and a lot of learning. I hope in my time at Homecourt I have had some positive effect on helping advance the game you all love so much. Thank you for all the friendships, advice and support so many of you have shown me over the years. I will not soon forget it. My last day with Homecourt will be January 9th at which point I pass the torch to the new Executive Director of the South Meridian YMCA – Mike Kapuscinski who will oversee Homecourt operations through its transition into South Meridian. Mike is an amazing YMCA leader and will be a great addition to the Homecourt Y and helping you grow the sport of Pickleball in our community. Thank you again for a wonderful 2 and a half years and I hope to see you all in the future.
Much gratitude,
Scott Swanson
